'I served in the 1st Mass. Rgt, he in the 4th of the same Brigade. Josiah Crocker married about a month after returning home from the Army to Thankful Lothrop. Ansel Crocker testified that he 1) knew Josiah Crocker and was with him for three years at West Point. 'I, Ansel Crocker, served in Boston until 1783. He (Josiah) married Thankful Lothrop in winter of 1783, four to six weeks after he arrived home. They resided at Barnstable until he moved to Sandwich about 20 years ago. To the best of my recollection, Josiah and Thankful lived in Sandwich until he died the 4th day of July 1830.
