"Capt. Joseph W. Crocker sailed the Clipper Ship SWORDFISH from Sadall Island off Shanghai on the 12th of December 1859, was 11 days down the China Sea to Anjaier (straits of Sunda); from thence, 56 days around the Cape of Good Hope to 1 degree North lat. 36 degrees West long.; from thence to Sandy Hook in 14 days, arriving March 2d, 1860, two months and 20 days from China, the shortest voyage on record."
