Gerald Frederick Astorino (Bung) died peacefully on Saturday, March 21st, 2015 at Wauklehagen Manor, McAdam, NB, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the son of the late Angelo and Annie Astorino and was predeceased by sisters Mary, Bessie, Barbara and brother Frank.
He is survived by his wife Pauline of 62 years; sisters Helen and Audrey (Jack); children, Gerry (Mary), Michael (Judy), Jane (Paul), Mary (Dave), Sheri, George (Gail), John Paul (Andrea); 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Gerald was born in McAdam NB, on April 11, 1932 where he lived all his life. He worked 38 years for the Canadian Pacific Railway as a Carman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was most happy on Oromocto Lake surrounded by family.
Resting at St Clements Catholic Church, Highland Avenue, McAdam, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015 at 11 AM. Visitation at the church on Tuesday, March 24th, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the Wauklehagen Manor where Papa lived for the past four years.
