Nothing is known for certain about this family except the births of three children recorded in Barnstable between 1739 and 1743. In the Barnstable Town Records the names of two more children, Josiah, born 14 October 1762, and Ansel, born 22 January 1767, have been inserted into the record at a later date in a different hand, without stating they were the children of Isaac and Elizabeth Crocker. No actual proof for these two additional children, such as probate records or deeds for Isaac and Elizabeth Crocker, has been found.
