| Narrative |
Jabez Crocker had at least one child by his first wife, Deliverance Jones, who died young, and six by his second wife, Mary Baker. There were no children by his third wife, Remember Fuller. James R. Crocker, in his Crocker Genealogy, named an Ebenezer Crocker as Jabez Crocker’s eldest son, in a garbled list of children, all ascribed to the second wife, Mary Baker.11 These have been unscrambled by Maclean W. McLean with a careful reading of West Barnstable Church records. He could find no evidence of a son named Ebenezer in this family. |
