Memo: "There is no proof of the existence of such a person and this record is inserted here for convenience. He might be the Enoch Crocker in 1790 Census in Renssaeville (sic), Albany Co., N.Y., as a family of 2 males over 16, 1 under 16, 4 females, but this is
doubtful. If so he prob. had ch. Amos, Ephraim, and Rebecca. He is more likely to have been the Enoch Crocker of Welbraham, Mass., who died in 1836, leaving a widow Lydia. The widow Lydia of Welbraham, Mass., d. bef. 1 Feb 1861, leaving sons Enoch R.,
Edwin R., and Jackson, and having had 2 other sons and a dau., who d. bef. 1865, named in her will dated 4 Feb. 1858."
