Note
When ready to commence his active life work he made a trip to India on an ice ship from Boston and when he returned he joined his father in business at New York and was a partner in the firm of Henry H. Crocker & Co. for several years, continuing in business a few years after his father's death. In 1896 he closed out the business of the firm and went abroad for a year, and upon his return to this country settled at Barnstable, in the beautiful home he has since occupied. |
