Marjorie M (Albert) Leonard, 75, died at her Osterville home Tuesday, March 18, 1997. The wife of Willis H Leonard, she was born in Rockville Centre NY and was a graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and Adelhpi University in Garden City, NY. A registered nurse for many years in Nassau County, NY, Mrs Leonard was also an artist contributing cartoons for various newspapers on Cape Cod. She also illustrated books for the Osterville Historical Society and was a former member of the Cape Cod Art Association. Mrs Leonard was a member of the Friends of the Osterville Free Library and the Osterville Historical Society. She was a resident of Osterville for 15 years after having lived in Wantagh NY. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Jonathan G Leonard of Richmond, VT, a granddaughter, Emma M Leonard, and a sister Mrs Donald (Edna Albert) Jackson of Anandale VA.
