LINCOLN – Terry T. Ellingwood, 41, was called home to be with the Lord at 10:08 p.m., March 24, 2006, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born April 17, 1964, in Bangor, the son of Sonny Ellingwood and Betty (St. Louis) Roy. Terry graduated from Old Town High School, Class of 1983, and was employed in the lumber mill industry for most of his life. Terry will be remembered for his passion for woodworking, an art in which he was truly gifted. He is survived by the love of his life and true soul mate, Brenda Pelkey (Ellingwood) of Lincoln; mother and stepfather, Betty and Paul Roy Sr. of Argyle; father, Sonny Ellingwood and his fiance, Nancy DeRaps, of Old Town; two children, Tyler and Kristian Ellingwood of Bradley; a brother, who will deeply miss him and who truly loved him, Troy Ellingwood and his wife, Debbie and their daughter, Meghan, of Milford; stepdaughters, who loved him as a father, Shelley McIntyre and Beth Nelson of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Debbie Bouchard of Oakfield; step-grandchildren, Bradley, Timothy, Chase and Duncan, all of Lincoln; stepsisters, Karen, Patti, Linda and Dawn; stepbrother, Paul Jr.; many aunts, uncles and cousins; his extended family of in-laws, who grew to love him and will miss him. He was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Lee Ellingwood. At Terry’s request, no funeral services will be held.
