Crocker, Vivian E.
Vivian E. Murchison Crocker, age 92, beloved wife of the late Lionel F. Crocker and longtime resident of Trumbull, entered into eternal rest at her home on Saturday, January 23, 2016. Born on January 28, 1923 in Lincoln, ME, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Beatrice Hanscom Murchison. Vivian was employed with First National Food as a produce wrapper for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed birdwatching, playing scrabble, solitaire, and aggravation with her grandkids. She was a diehard New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan and a sports enthusiast who read the sports page on a daily basis and played basketball in High School. Above all, there was nothing Vivian enjoyed more than spending time with her family which she loved so much. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew her. Vivian is survived by her children, Michael Crocker, Jane Sentocnik and her husband Vid of Shelton, Kathryn LaRiccia and her husband Mark of Milford, her loving sisters, Irene Barbour of NC and Edie Wilson of FL, her oldest granddaughter, Maryjane Seymour and her husband Allan of Trumbull, with whom Vivian resided as well as 5 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband Lionel, she was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Deitz Lamare, brothers, Lawrence, Everett, and Kenneth Murchison, a granddaughter, Louanne R. Deitz, and her great granddaughter, Cheyenne M. Seymour. Friends are invited to meet directly in Long Hill Baptist Church, 100 Middlebrooks Ave., Trumbull on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. for a Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
