Memo: I'm not entirely sure I believe this, but.....

Lemuel Nye Sr born 3-21-1698, married (intentions 4-30-1728) Sarah Jenkins, born 12-1-1706, daughter of Experience (Hamblen) & Thomas Jenkins (NYE Genealogy, p 91). Lemuel Nye I married 1737 another Sarah Jenkins, born 12-01-1706, daughter of Mary (Ellis),
of Middleboro & a different Thomas Jenkins.

Amos Otis volume 2 says that Mary Ellis of Middleboro married Josiah Jenkins in 1737, who is brother of Sarah and son of Thomas. Nye Genealogy volume 2 says that Sarah Jenkins is listed as Josiah's sister in his will and they are the children of Thomas
Jenkins and Experience Hamblen.

I think Leonard just got this wrong. I think there was no second marriage for Lemuel.
