Note: 1 (To Do)

It is for the marriage of Richard Rancourt and Sara Bézier on January 28, 1878 in the parish of Saint-Germain-du-Lac-Etchemin. Richard was a farmer of the same parish, and the adult son of the late Godefroi Rancourt, farmer, and Marcelline Craïte*, also of that parish. Sara was of the same parish, the minor daughter of farmer Pierre Bézier and Sophie Nadeau of that parish. The witnesses were George Nadeau, Richard's brother-in-law; Lumina Nadeau, his niece; Louis Bézier, her brother; and Vital Bézier, her cousin.

*Craïte is how the name is literally spelled, which seems to be a variant of the surname Crete/Crête, according to PRDH.
