Note: 1

The DAR accepted him as a patriot at one point and he has a patriot number and descendant members based on him, but since 2000 the DAR has said that there is no acceptable evidence that he served. His son Othniel seems to have served and is in the SAR as a patriot with pension records to back it up, but he is not in the DAR ancestor database.
