He was a corporal in Capt. Ashabel Smith's co.,- Col. Lemuel Robinson's regt., on the Lexington alarm April 19, 1775; was at Braintree, March 22, 1776, in Capt. Theophilus Lyon's co.. Col. Benj. Gill's regt.; was at Cherry Valley Feb. 24, 1779.
