Brown-Crocker

Was in the expedition to Fort Oswego in 1756, to build vessels for the government; in the attack on the fort by the French, Aug. 14, was taken prisoner and carried to Quebec, afterward to France, where he died, probably at Dijon, where a fatal sickness raged among the prisoners.
