Obituary for Emile David Morin Jr. Emile David Morin Jr. Guestbook.

Dave passed away peacefully with his loving wife and daughter by his side after a lengthy illness, on Oct. 23, 2019, at Fletcher Allen in Burlington. Born Sept. 14, 1946, in Schuyler Falls, N.Y. He was the son of the late Emile, Sr. and Eva (Burl) Morin. Dave was employed at Moses Ludington Hospital as plant engineer for 40 plus years, until his retirement in December 2011. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, always putting others before himself. People who knew him knew where they stood with him. He will always be remembered as a loving, caring, giving kind man. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ellie Morin. A son David of Plattsburgh, a daughter Rebecca (Ric) Rodriguez of Mineville. Sisters Aloha Morin and Aloma Manville and a brother Cheyenne Morin, all of Mineville. Two very special grandchildren Joseph and Emilee Rodriguez of Mineville. And four other grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, four brothers and his special dog Brutus. At Dave's request there will be no calling hours; a funeral will be at a later date. For anyone wishing to honor Dave's memory, donations can be made in his name to UVMMC, cardiac care ICU, McClure 4, Burlington, VT 05401. A very special thank you to all of the doctors and nurses at UVMMC for the special care and support they gave him and his family during this most difficult time.
